Our Mission
Our mission is to be a preschool where children can begin
their faith journey, become disciples of Jesus Christ and reflect God’s light
into the world while they are nurtured in a place of belonging and purpose.
Thus,
our daily goals include:

Providing a warm, Christian
environment in which each child will be treated as an individual.

Offering developmentally
appropriate experiences and opportunities that will enrich each child’s
physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.

Allowing time every day to
explore God’s world of wonder,
·
Creating an atmosphere where
children learn to play with other children in small and large groups,
·
Promoting a sense of community
amongst all of the staff, the children and their
families.
Curriculum
The
curriculum used in our preschool is two-tiered.
Our desire to be a Christian Preschool enables us to incorporate bible
lessons/activities with the “academic” curriculum.
A
variety of Christian based curriculums/lessons will be utilized in the classroom.
Wonder-filled Weekdays will form the
framework for the Christian component, but teachers will also supplement these
ideas with other resources.
The “academic” curriculum is based on a hands-on approach
where language development, art exploration, creative movement, and free play
are utilized to keep the children active and learning. Both fine motor and gross motor skill
development are emphasized as well as individual and group play. Wee
Care curriculum forms a basis for such activities.

Hours: 9:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lunch Bunch option: til 1:00 p.m.
Ratio: 2 teachers to 8-10 children for 2’s & 3’s; 2 teachers to 10-12 children
for 4’s
2 year olds:

3 year olds: Monday, Wednesday, Friday ∙ Tuition: $145/month
4 year olds: Monday-Thursday ∙ Tuition: $160/month

Registration Information
Preschool registration for 2004-05 is underway for
current families, with a deadline of February 24 to insure placement. Genesis church members have priority
registration on February 25th and the General Public begins registering on
February 26th and is first come, first served at 9:00 a.m. We have
three 2 year old classes, three 3 year old classes and two 4 year old classes. Please download our
