     Genesis' Newest Mission

Was it really just a few weeks ago that Genesis received that special piece of paper - our Certificate of Occupancy - which signified that the new building is truly ours?  (our's, and the bank's, that is!)  The piles of dirt and blue Clancy & Theys' pick-up trucks are now a thing of the past - alleluia!  The mess of renovation, with its clutter of storage and temporary inconveniences, has given way to orderly new classrooms.  Not only has the building been transformed, but also new ministries are being born!  Construction workers have been replaced by other new faces:  smiling preschoolers, Genesis' newest mission.

The singing of God's praises now fills our worship room during the week, not just on Sunday mornings.  What a joy it is to share God's word with our newest generation.  Our children are so eager to hear the stories of God's faithfulness.  God is doing a great thing in our midst with this wonderful ministry, which is one of the few Christian preschools in our community.

We thank the many people who have worked so hard to launch this newest mission:  Trustees who worked many long and hard hours to get the preschool wing ready; Tracy Birdwhistell and others in Children's Ministry who developed successful forerunner preschool programs like Mother's Morning Out and Sonbeams over the past several years; Leslie Payne, our Preschool Director, and her staff who have launched a program that is full to capacity in its very first year.

You are invited to stop by some weekday morning and watch our newest mission in action.

God is so good to have placed this opportunity at our doorstep.  Let us all be faithful to God in praying for God's blessing on this mission in God's church!!!
