Janet Rocap
Janet shares church secretarial duties with Dorri VanSloten, and
you can usually find her in the church office on Mondays,
Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Janet became Genesis' part-time
secretary in the fall of 1996 when she left the full-time hustle
and bustle of being Cary Family YMCA's Director of
Administrative Services.
Janet and her husband, Carl, have been members of Genesis since
1990, when they relocated to Cary from Massachusetts. She
sings in the Genesis Chancel Choir and Chorale and co-teaches
Disciple Bible study with Carl. Janet and Carl have one
grown son, Cap, who is also a member of Genesis, along with his
wife, Emily Simpson Rocap.
