What We Believe…
We believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary: Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell: The third day he rose again from the dead: He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty: From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead: We believe in the Holy Spirit: We believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints: The forgiveness of sins: The resurrection of the body: And the life everlasting.
We are a welcoming community of believers who are developing, expanding, and nurturing our faith in Christ through worship, study, fellowship, and service.
Please join us for Sunday Worship, and consider a small group activity such as a Sunday School or Bible Study Class or a fellowship opportunity.

Genesis UMC was established in 1987 and we have been in our building since 1994. We were founded with the Mission to be a place of “beginning, belonging, and becoming” for the faith community – as people make new or renewed beginnings in faith, nurture others in a place of belonging to one another & to God, and become disciples of Jesus Christ as we reflect God’s light into the world.
Our Core Values – to Love God, Love Neighbor, and Make Disciples – are Biblically based (, ). We also celebrate the purpose to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” ().
Pastor Craig Ham welcomes you to Genesis UMC.
37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (ESV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (ESV)
