Genesis UMC partners with local organizations to provide a wide range of services to families in need.

Congregations for Children (C4C)

What is C4C? Congregations for Children is all about making sure that we, the members that make up the body of Christ as His church, are living out His message by being involved in missions within our local neighborhoods. How perfect is this verse for just that: “The word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood” .

You can read more about the initiative, how/why the Bishop started it here.

Genesis UMC is a church that whole-heartedly believes that every member should be involved in a mission – especially to those in need in our own neighborhood. By ‘adopting’ Kingswood Elementary as part of the C4C initiative, Genesis members are making a huge difference in the lives of the children, teachers and staff there. And how? By simply living out Jesus’ message to us to love our neighbors! Live the message; be the example; and the seeds of goodness we plant will be blessed and grow strong, healthy fruit!

“Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better”  .

Let’s join together to Love God, Love Neighbor and Serve Others!
