    Ladies Spring Brunch

    The Ladies Spring Brunch is a semi-annual brunch with the women's ministry of Genesis UMC. All ladies are invited to come! We ask that you register for the event HERE to help us best prepare for our time together.

    Men's Kayaking Outing

    All men and their kids are invited for a day of fun on the water.  We will do some kayaking on Saxapahaw Lake, then have lunch together at The Eddy.  This is a beginner-friendly paddle, and if you don’t have a kayak, there are rentals available, including tandem kayaks, from Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. at https://hawrivercanoe.com/ or 336-260-6465.

    Healing Service

    SUNDAY, MAY 3 AT 6:45PM

    In the Bible, we are commanded on numerous occasions to gather together, anoint, and pray over those who are sick, hurting, or in pain.

    After the emotions stirred by our worship series, Forgiveness, we wanted to provide this special time dedicated to doing what the Lord has commanded.

    Hats4Duke Sewing and Cutting Party

    SATURDAY, MAY 16 FROM 10AM-2PM

    We are having our next Hats4Duke Sewing and Cutting Party on Saturday, May 16, from 10am-2pm. Bring your sewing machine and a lunch for this day of fun and fellowship while blessing cancer patients at Duke and Rex Hospitals.

    One Service Sunday

    SUNDAY, MAY 17 AT 10AM

    On Sunday, May 17, there will be only one blended worship service at 10am. The service will be a day dedicated to our children and our preschool ministry. A potluck lunch will immediately follow the service. We look forward to seeing you there!

    Help us celebrate the start of Summer with an old fashioned hymn sing and ice cream social. We will gather to sing favorite hymns while enjoying tasty sweets together.
