Genesis UMC is part of a handful of area churches working together to complete homes this Fall. Our opportunity to participate with Habitat For Humanity of Wake County is Saturday, November 1st. There is a group meeting at the church at 7:00am to go.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2

We will conclude our series, I WILL, with Commitment Sunday on November 2nd at 9am and 11:10am. This will be your opportunity to submit your pledge for your commitment to support the church, in 2026, with your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

You can submit a paper copy of your pledge on Sunday, November 2nd, or you can complete a digital pledge right now at this link.

THROUGH SUNDAY NOVEMBER 16

Join us in serving our local missions partner, Dorcas Ministries, by packing a Thanksgiving Basket. These crucial items allow for food insecure families to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together. Pack and deliver your basket and deliver it to Dorcas at 193 High House Road in Cary, or drop it off at church any Sunday up until November 16th.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 10AM

Our semi-annual ladies' brunch is a wonderful time of fellowship and food with our women's ministry. All ladies are invited! Please bring a wrapped white elephant bingo gift (ideally something from your home you've been wanting to give away) to participate in what will be a hilarious game.

The Next Steps Lunch is the perfect starting point for anyone who is new to Genesis or anyone looking for their place to connect in the ongoing journey of following Jesus. This 90 minute catered lunch is a great chance to meet the staff and hear more about who we are and what we believe.

All are invited to join us for a special time of snacks, beverages, and stories around the campfire in the Legacy Garden at Genesis UMC. We will begin around 6pm on Sunday, November 16th.
